GRANITE YMCA
Industry: Fitness
The problem: Granite YMCA was expanding their online presence during the pandemic and needed a way for users to access that content
The solve: Develop a sub-domain to handle the ever-growing library of live and on-demand video content. Because of the pandemic, members weren't going to their locations in-person, and were taking full advantage of their online classes. The problem was that the Granite YMCA had a page on their main site where they posted a PDF each week, outlining the live classes they were offering via Zoom. The problem was really identified as: they couldn't keep up with it that way anymore. They wanted to grow and improve existing membership by giving a more robust experience. They converted their Zoom offerings to a Vimeo account, and we developed the site to browse and access those videos. This included a filterable calendar of live classes that users could register for or join in-progress and also included a full library of pre-recorded videos that users could browse and view at will. And of course, any user could browse the site, but only members could view, so I had to make sure that was emphasized in order to appeal to potential members.
